Coming from London where the dance scene is off the charts DJ Kay has shined in the dance world playing in prestigious clubs such as Ministry of Sound and Pacha.
Starting his musical career when he was just 12 years old Kay believes that every club he plays in brings on a new challenge and never shy’s away from a challenge, by the time Kay reached 16 he was already playing on 3 radio stations and had clubs scouting him to play at their venues however being too young he had to wait. On his 18th birthday he played at Storm in London’s Leicester square where he held residency and by the time he was 19 he was playing for one of the biggest radio stations around, World Dance FM where he had a massive fan base and was playing around the world.
With weekly Guest Appearances around London this was only the start of Kay’s career, in a competition thrown he held 3rd place as London’s best DJ which won him a residency at the renowned Gas Club. Length of sets have never been a problem as on New Year’s Eve Kay did a staggering 12 hour set .
Now recently moved to Australia DJ Kay is set in bringing his London based music scene to the people of Australia blending some of the best funky uplifting vocal house with the low dirty beats of electro house. DJ Kay is defiantly one of those DJ’s that you just can’t stop dancing to. From Ministry Of Sound in London to some of the highest named clubs in Australia Kay is well travelled and very crowd experienced behind the wheels of steel. When asked why he became a dj, His answer "I Just love the energy the crowd gives back to you and you can’t get better than that"
